Does your dog need an energy outlet, exercise, or to flex their social circle? Heading out of town, and your dog, cat, bunny, etc. could use some care? We got you!

Trail Hikes (group or solo), Play dates, and Group Walks:

Play dates and Group Dog Walks get everyone together for fun and exercise, and we have a knack at these.  Trail hikes get them out into nature for a myriad of benefits. Our daily and weekly walking buddies truly become part of our pack, making friends with us but also their canine friends they get to see when they’re with us. Not enough of our dogs get social interaction with other dogs.  So many canine friendships around Richmond, VA, thanks to us.

Midday Visits:

Here’s where we have you covered on your long days at work, whether at home or at the office.  We get the pleasure of hanging out with many of Richmond’s finest during the day, taking these canines out for a walk or other outing, based on their need.  Sometimes just a little TLC is needed, and other times we end up at one of RVA’s city parks for a walk or trail hike.

Vet Appointment Transport (to/from):

When your day is packed too tightly either busy at home or getting to the office first thing, let us get your pup to the vet for you and bring them home when they’re done. Morning transport is offered between 8-10am, and afternoon transport back home between 3-6pm. Note: in order to make this a sustainable option, this service is offered to clients who either use us for other services so that their pup(s) are familiar with us OR clients who are home, so that no keys or prior meeting with the pup is needed. This is limited within our service area only.

Grooming Visits:

Avoid the trip to the groomer, and let us come to you. You’ll get a talented, gentle groomer with a focus on the experience being a pleasant one, and the m/o is a low-stress experience for your dog or cat.

At (Your) Home Pet Sitting:

We come to you. When you’re out of town, we can stop over for several visits throughout the day: morning, afternoon, and night; or we can stay overnight for a sleepover. It helps reduce their stress by keeping them in their familiar environment. No more puppy nightmares.

Scheduling:

Because our time is valuable to our clients, we like to schedule services in advance. We’ll have an initial meet-and-greet (“shake-a-paw”) to work out all the details, arrange for keys, and make sure we have a great fit between sitter and furry child.  And don’t worry because all shake-a-paws are COVID-safe with outdoor and virtual options.

Key Policy:

If you will not be home during our visits, so that we need to enter the home, then two copies of keys necessary to access the house or apartment, including any common door keys/magnetic openers, are collected at the (COVID-safe) meet and greet (once everyone is comfortable).  We will hold onto these for future services so that you don’t have to worry about getting us keys each time you need us.  We will also provide one of our lockboxes to use during your services, for a one time fee of $27 (you’ll never pay this again).

If you choose to hold onto your keys, or want them returned after services, we can offer a key pickup and/or drop off service for $21.75 each. Please note that we must charge for key pickup and drop-off services in order for that offering to be sustainable.
